Papa
Papa is the executive branch of Real Social Dynamics (RSD). He is also the guy who invited me to join him, Mystery and Style at Project Hollywood back in Nov 2003.
I’ll never forget the scene. We were dining at “Mustang Sally’s” near Penn Station in Manhattan. He sat me down after dinner and made his pitch to join him in LA, beginning in January.
I was floored. I knew I had had a good seminar/workshop with these guys, but this invitation was not expected. He used every trick I knew he had. NLP, Future Adventure Projections (an RSD gimmick) and just “plowing through” my resistance.
I sat back and absorbed all of this, and agreed that it was a compelling offer. I told him I would sit with it for a day or two, but that I’d let him know soon.
The next day, I went to work. My lame, boring, corporate job. I was working for a headhunter in midtown Manhattan. I was bored out of my mind there, but making “a living”. The job convinced me. Being there for a few hours, and then thinking about moving to LA, and living with these guys, building a lifestyle like a rock star…well, you can see why I decided the way I did.
Papa was the guy who made this invitation. I’m grateful he did.
Once RSD and Mystery Method began its intense competition, Papa became confined to his computer. He never went out socially, and rarely decided to even leave the house.
I always felt that Papa viewed RSD and the community as a means of making money, and not a place to grow himself into a happier, cooler guy. He and TD would often argue these points.
Nowadays, I hear that Papa is to become the leader of RSD since TD is removing himself more and more from the teaching of the ideas. Frankly, I cannot imagine Papa having the charisma and power to lead that company both from the executive and coaching branches.
He’s a good hearted guy, for sure. But, he can be overtaken (like many of us) by an overpowering character flaw rendering him selfish and imbalanced.
Is it possible he’s changed in 4 years? Sure it is. He could be a more relaxed and balanced guy. In 2004, he was young and most of our growth happens in our late 20’s.
Oh, and would I work with Papa as a dating coach? No I wouldn’t. Though, others at RSD might be of value to learn from. I personally trained Natural Tim (Chariot) years ago, and can vouch that he’s a cool guy with a load of natural skill. It’s been some years on that though.
