The BKRS Pet: Paxil Cat

The latest from Barry/Stefan is simply the below image of a crazed kitty. Apparently, when on Paxil, one’s eyes turn green, and Chinese phantoms arrive.

On a related note, I ate the best Chinese food last night in recent memory. A spot called “Joe’s Shanghai” on Pell Street. If you’re a NYer, or visiting, definitely worth the visit. The pork dumplings are incredible.

The Chad Dinosaur Saga

Part 1

Hey Chad, this is Stefan:

I was wondering if you could do me a favor. Could you write an article for me tomorrow? I would like to submit it to Stephen Nash for this week’s publication. Here are the details:

I want you to write about dinosaurs – everything you know about them – different types, your favorite one, descriptions – anything you like, as long as it’s about dinosaurs. I’m looking for something that’s about 400 to 500 words (that’s about 1 page in MS Word). Other than that, there are no restrictions on how you want to write it.

L.A. Diary #1 – Back To Project Hollywood

I couldn’t resist, I had to return.

I had some dinner Tuesday night with some old friends, and then slipped off to return to Cameron Teone’s (where I am staying) for the night. I was exhausted from jet-lag, and looking forward to a long rest. But, I could see the Sunset Strip in the L.A. distance. In a haze at the foot of The Hills, I could barely make out the old buildings I knew so well 5 years ago.

I was heading back to Project Hollywood…

Apparently, The Barry Kirkey Radio Show is responding to the current worldwide recession (does Canada have an economy??) by branching out into the furniture biz. I recall fondly that Barry, lazy-ass that he is, enjoys the comforts of home like the more sedate of us. Good for him for parlaying this interest into a viable source of income.
